IS FLOW SAFE?

Every FSA instructor is a seasoned surfer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in surf lineups around the world. Our instructors are watermen and women who have developed an innate understanding of the ocean throughout their lives the tides, currents, reefs, you name it. Surfing is an everyday part of their lives and sharing it with those who need it most is their passion. Every instructor is CPR certified and in addition, we work alongside local Lifeguard departments to develop safety/hazard plans for each event. Rest assured, safety is our number one priority!

IS FLOW SUSTAINABLE?

For us, sustainability is a serious business. To do what we love in the ocean and to continue sharing surfing with others, we need to do everything in our power to protect and heal our playground – the sea. Not only do we prioritize sustainable values and practices in our personal lives, but we also carry this over into FSA and its programs. From minimizing our use of single-use plastics on-site to leaving each surf break cleaner than we found it, there’s an undertone of sustainable education in everything we do. Education for sustainability not only aims to build awareness and knowledge of sustainability issues but also develops FSA students, families, and friends that act in ways that contribute to more sustainable patterns of living.

Simply put, Flow Surf Academy believes in environmentally responsible humanitarian education through collaboration and cooperation protecting environments, and creating a more ecologically and socially just world through informed action. Actions that support more sustainable patterns of living that require consideration of environmental, social, cultural, and economic systems.
