1 ½ Hour Private Surf Lesson
In this initial stage, participants with special needs are introduced to the water environment and the basics of surfing while tandem surfing with an instructor. Water safety personnel may be required depending on the athletes size and abilities.
It includes:
Water Entry and Safety: Participants learn how to safely enter the water and navigate the surf zone while wearing appropriate safety gear such as life vests.
Board Handling: Participants become familiar with surfboards, including how to carry them, lie on them, and paddle in prone positions.
Balance and Body Positioning: Special attention is given to teaching participants how to maintain balance on the board and practice body positioning for stability.
