WAVE RIDING + SKILL DEVELOPMENT

1 ½ Hour Private Surf Lesson

In this stage, participants progress to riding waves with the assistance of instructors or trained volunteers. Water safety personnel may be required depending on the athletes size and abilities.

This stage involves:

• Wave Selection: Instructors choose appropriate waves based on participants' skill levels and provide guidance on when and how to catch them.

• Surfing Techniques: Participants are taught surfing techniques tailored to their abilities, which may include paddling into waves, riding prone, sitting, or even attempting to stand on the board if feasible.

• Progressive Challenges: Participants gradually tackle more challenging waves as they gain confidence and competence in riding smaller ones.
